’90 Day: The Last Resort’ season 2 premieres Monday, Dec. 2 at 8 p.m. ET on TLC

Six couples enter the desert in pairs, but some will be leave single.

On Wednesday, Oct. 23, TLC released the trailer for the highly-anticipated second season of 90 Day: The Last Resort. The upcoming installment will follow six pairs, Ari and Bini, Brandon and Julia, Gino and Jasmine, Rob and Sophie, Josh and Natalie and Stacey and Florian, as they embark on a “rigorous relationship bootcamp” after hitting their breaking points.

According to the series’ official synoposis, Last Resort will see the couples working on their relationships for three weeks at a desert oasis in Arizona. Alongside a team of therapists and counselors, the group will learn to navigate “jealousy, anger and intimacy” through “group therapy and untraditional approaches, including hypnotherapy, pleasure mapping, sand tray therapy and off-grid excursions into the desert.”

At the end, the couples will have to decide if they want to remain in their relationship or go their separate ways at a recommitment ceremony.

“What the hell is your problem? You’ve changed,” Stacey begins in the trailer. After throwing her engagement ring back at Florian, she tells cameras, “He has completely broken my trust.”

In another scene, Brandon and Julia are dealing with their own issues. When Julia tells him, “We need more money,” he staunchly replies, “So why stop there? Why don’t you go do porn?”

With a common goal of repairing their relationships and rebuilding trust, the couples head to the desert in order to “get on a different course.”

The six pairs soon find themselves in the wilderness for an exercise called “compromised canyon.” Standing back-to-back, Jasmine and Gino attempt to vocalize their feelings. When Gino asks if she’s “willing to sleep in the same bed with me,” Jasmine gets teary-eyed as she admits, “I can’t.”

The couples aren’t the only ones working through drama. During a group outing, things between Natalie and Jasmine get heated when Natalie walks off after knocking a drink from Sophie’s hands.

Jasmine confronts Natalie for the broken glass that landed on her foot outside the bar, demanding, “You f—ing throw glass on my feet and you’re going to apologize.”

When Natalie simply stands there with a smirk on her face, the guys try to restrain Jasmine as she says with calm fury, “You want to meet with crazy, I’m crazy. F— you, b—.”

The trailer also teases the looming recommitment ceremony, which the couples enter with the weight of their relationships on their shoulders.

“I want us both to be happy,” Sophie says as tears fall.
