The Cleveland Cavaliers are doing their part to honor Cleveland Browns legend Myles Garrett.
In October 2023, Garrett purchased a minority ownership stake in the Cavaliers and has since then been serving as an ambassador for the team. And in his new role with the team, the NFLs Defensive Player of the Year has done his part, often spotted courtside at Cavaliers games, cheering on the team during the 2024 NBA Playoffs.
Considering how passionate Garrett is in his support of the Cavaliers, the organization is doing its part to show the support is appreciated. In a statement, the franchise announced that it would be giving away a bobblehead of Garrett during its matchup with the Washington Wizards on Dec. 3.
The Myles Garrett bobblehead features the Cavs minority partner in a #95 white association jersey that showcases the defensive linemans passionate support for the Cavs, the statement began. It depicts him in his familiar courtside pose enthusiastically waving a rally towel.
The bobblehead design incorporates a clever dual-bobble feature. Not only does Garretts head bobble, but so does his wrist to wave the rally towel.
Garretts support for the franchise is unmatched. When he was introduced as one of the minority owners of the Cavaliers, the 28-year-old explained how having an intimate role within the organization was a goal of his.

I have admired the Cavaliers organizations hard work, tenacity, and dedication to the community since my early days in Cleveland, he said in a statement. To have the opportunity to join this impressive and purpose-filled franchise, under [Dan Gilberts] leadership, is truly a dream come true.
Gilbert, the chairman and owner of the Cavaliers, further reflected on what it meant to have someone of Garretts stature be a part of the organization. As a leader on and off the field, Myles has become a Cleveland icon and shares in our organizations commitment to being a transformative force for good across the region, Gilberts statement read.
We are honored to welcome this long-time friend of the team as our new partner and investor. Myles passion and commitment to the city he loves will allow us to reach new communities and continue to build the successful future of this franchise.

With Garrett in tow, the Cavaliers have seen an unprecedented start to the 2024-25 NBA season. Leading up to their marquee matchup with the Boston Celtics on Tuesday, Cleveland won 15 straight games, becoming the fourth team in league history to have started the season with 15 consecutive wins.
Should the Cavaliers beat the Celtics, they would join the Golden State Warriors as the only teams to start a season winning 16 straight games. The 2015-16 Warriors went on to win 24 straight games to start a season, en route to setting a league record of 73 wins.
