A star-studded lineup of musicians, from “Guts” to “Brat,” is heading to Glastonbury for 2025.
The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo will headline the Glastonbury Festival, performing on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively.
Olivia Rodrigo, who last performed at Glastonbury in 2022, made headlines for speaking out against the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade just days before her performance. She was also joined on stage by Lily Allen. The 22-year-old pop star received rave reviews, with NME calling her Glastonbury performance a “career and festival defining moment” and awarding it a perfect score.
Other artists set to perform at this year’s festival include Alanis Morissette, Busta Rhymes, Gracie Abrams, Charli XCX, John Fogerty, Brandi Carlile, Weezer, and Rod Stewart.
This will be Gracie Abrams’ first time performing at Glastonbury, following her opening act for Taylor Swift during the Eras Tour. Morissette, Carlile, and Shaboozey are also among the artists performing at the festival for the first time.
Neil Young had briefly pulled out of the festival late last year before the lineup was officially announced. In a New Year’s Eve post, he expressed concerns over Glastonbury being “under corporate control” and said, “We were told that BBC was now a partner in Glastonbury and wanted us to do a lot of things in a way we were not interested in.” However, Young quickly backtracked, explaining that his decision was due to “an error in the information” he received, and confirmed that Glastonbury is now back on his schedule. Young previously headlined Glastonbury in 2009.
The 2024 festival was headlined by Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and SZA, with performances from Cyndi Lauper, Janelle Monáe, and Shania Twain.
Glastonbury 2025 will take place from June 25 to June 29. Tickets, which went on sale in November, have already sold out.
