Buffalo and lion are natural enemies and can often be seen fighting. In fact, the Cape buffalo is believed to be responsible for more lion deaths than any other animal. As we will discover in this post, Buffalo has eliminated this most dangerous predator.

Due to their large size and strength, Cape Buffalo will take down a lion nearly every time in a one-on-one match. However, the pride of the lion can overpower a single Cape buffalo using the strength of the whole herd. A lion can sometimes take down an injured calf or buffalo on its own.

In this video we see the whole herd of buffalo unite moving to the lion’s lap, causing it to be scared. Seeing the herd of buffaloes was so mighty that even we were close enough to be scared because we were so close to it.

At this time, the male lion rushed up to attack the buffalo, but he was alone in the large and strong buffalo herd.

a buffalo suddenly rushed straight at the lion, making it startled and not able to react and backed away. At this point the lioness was scared and left first.

Thus, the buffalo herd chased 2 lions out of their territory one by one.
