Boo, a formerly wild and ailing kitten, undergoes an extraordinary transformation, thriving under the devoted care of his adoptive mother.

Residents discovered a kitten aged around 5 weeks old alone in the street who obviously had help.

He suffered from an upper respiratory infection and digestive problems . Furthermore, his soiled coat indicated that he had not benefited from his mother’s protection for some time now.

They then contacted the AnimalLuvr’s Dream Rescue association who entrusted him to one of their host volunteers, Nadija .

The latter created a cozy corner for little one named Boo and set about getting him back into shape.

 

 

 

24 hour attention

The veterinarian who examined Boo prescribed treatment to cure his ailments. At the same time, Nadija gave him a bath even though he was afraid.

“Boo was terrified when he arrived home. He meowed in fear. He had very dirty eyes and nasal discharge. He was also very hungry,” 

The young woman would not only have to pay special attention to her new resident, but also be patient to gain his trust.

 

 

The little one nevertheless demonstrated his pleasure at being in a warm and secure environment. He spent the majority of his days sleeping on a heating pad, which allowed him to heal quickly and regain his strength. 

Nadija ‘s reassuring words and caresses also contributed to his development.

In a few weeks, he let himself be convinced and ended up surprising his benefactress by climbing onto the sofa to join her for a nap.

 

 

“He is now a sweet, cuddly, courageous and playful kitten who ventures into the rest of the house for a few hours before returning to his safe space which is my office,” explained Nadija, delighted with this change. 

The fearful and unhealthy baby of yesteryear is now a ball of tenderness. He gained confidence in himself and made his host family happy.

Soon, he will be socialized with other cats in the home and then will be offered for adoption so that he can enjoy a lifetime of love and care.
