The Flip Off finale takes competition to the next level as Christina Haack and Heather Rae El Moussa engage in a dramatic game of revenge. After learning that Heather and her husband, Tarek El Moussa, had allegedly sent a drone into her home, Christina decides to fight fire with fire.
In the final episode of the HGTV series (airing March 5), Christina, 41, arrives at her project house only to be informed by her contractor, Michael Lange, that a mysterious drone was spotted flying through the property. Suspecting Tarek, whose cousin is a drone pilot, Christina takes matters into her own hands.
“They’re always saying I break the rules,” Christina states in a confessional. “But if they flew a drone through my house, I’m definitely getting them back.”
With her plan in place, Christina and Lange set up a double ambush on Heather and Tarek’s home while the couple is occupied hosting a garage sale. As Christina distracts them outside, Lange sneaks in, secretly filming each room and even pocketing a few unexpected souvenirs.

When Lange makes his escape through the backyard, Heather quickly realizes what’s happening. “Chase him down!” she yells, sprinting after him in a dramatic pursuit. However, Christina and Lange manage to jump into her SUV and speed away before they can be caught.
Their mission is a success, but Lange reveals one last surprise—he also swiped a bottle of wine and framed photos of Christina and Tarek’s children, Taylor (14) and Brayden (9), which had been used as a sentimental touch in their home staging for the judges.
Reflecting on the stunt, Christina shares her real takeaway from the experience: “I’m really going to have to up my landscaping game, but I have to do it without overspending like they do. If I win the return on investment, I win the entire thing.”
Originally announced in May 2024, The Flip Off follows Christina and her expert team as they go head-to-head against Tarek and Heather in a house-flipping showdown. Each episode challenges the teams to renovate specific spaces, but the ultimate winner is determined by who achieves the highest return on investment when they sell their house.
