Dwyane Wade had an intimate birthday celebration in Miami on Wednesday.
We hear the former NBA star and about a dozen of his close friends celebrated his 39th birthday with a private dinner at chef Marcus Samuelssons restaurant Red Rooster Overtown.
An insider told Page Six that Wade was joined by Rick Ross as well as the restaurants executive chef Tristen Epps.
The athlete and his party dined on ribs, shrimp, grits, and fried yard bird.
Were also told the Purple Lamborghini rapper surprised the birthday boy with a custom three-liter bottle of Luc Belaire Rare Rosé, which retails for $250.
After dinner, Wade was presented with a Lux Cakery cake designed to look like a bottle of his wine brand, Wade Cellars.
The group also adhered to COVID-19 guidelines, getting tested for the virus before joining together and dining in the private outdoor area of the restaurant.

At one point during the night, Ross, 44, presented the birthday boy with a custom three-liter bottle of Luc Belaire Rare Rosé, according to the source. The bottle was completely customized to for Dwyane with his signature and Images etched into the bottle, the insider says.
The source adds: While it was a very small dinner, and much more tame than his normal birthday celebrations, Wade was excited to have a night out with his close family and friends to kick off his birthday weekend.
The outing ended with a custom cake by Lux Cakery, which was designed to look like one of Wade Cellars wine bottles in an edible crate, with his jersey number in the righthand corner.
